JorZine Staff Picks For 2014

Band: Staff Picks

Author: JorZine Team - 2014-12-29

2014 has come to its end, so we didn't want to miss the chance of overviewing what our Middle Eastern Metal scene has offered us this year. JorZine Team brings you a list of (in our humble opinion) the best 11 Middle Eastern Rock/Metal releases from 2014. Despite only focusing on the Middle East instead of the whole world, we decided to include also albums from two bands from outside the region because the founders of both bands come from the Middle East and have been closely involved in our scene.

As a particularity from this year, we can say that the best-established bands have been less active (at least regarding on realising new albums!) than previous years, so this year's list is mainly composed of young but very talented bands.

Here is the list of our 11 favourite Middle Eastern Rock/Metal releases from 2014, in no particular order:

EMPTY YARD EXPERIMENT (E.Y.E.) - "Kallisti" (UAE)
