Highlights:  Most of the tracks are highlights

I LOVE SimpleXity and if that is all you care to know you can stop reading the review now and just listen and enjoy the band but still I will make few point of views, just in case you are curious to know my reasons.

Why SimpleXity are good? They are different, they present unique sound, different than any band in the Middle East. Sound that will take you somewhere else, sad, depressing, dark, they feel and message is out “life is not perfect” but at the same time sound full of hope. As the band name stands life is in between simple and complex.

Their music is packed with smart compositions, excellent musical performance and plenty of that “superiority” one expects from a progressive rock band. The singer/guitarist is the obvious lead, with great singing, great guitar work.

An agonizing bass guitar sound and loud rock riffs cracking the songs open, on the whole it s amazingly subdued with keyboards sometimes even as the dominant instrument. Not that that has to be a bad thing, not at all in their case.

Their music is hard to categorize actually, although classified as progressive rock, ones you start listening them you will be tuned on their unique and personal style, or it just again my opinion where I am trying to stay away from labeling the music. Moving from heavy patterns of progressive rock/metal sound to melancholic, adding the shoot fusion rhythmic and dosage eccentricity, SimpleXity will take you to unforgettable trip.

This band is brutally beautiful.
