Highlights: The Whole Show Was Amazing
Bands Line-up: Massive Scar Era, Destiny In Chains & Dark Philosophy
It's been a really a long dire time for extreme concerts or events in Egypt since 2006 due to certain circumstances and it was until the new era came up with a new dawn rising in Egypt with extreme and raging concerts and events marking their return in 2011.
But throughout all the metal events of Egypt, the Breakdown showed huge promises and expectations with its spectacular line-up and those expectations were fulfilled from the first moment I entered the venue. There was great decoration for the show, awesome smoke effects , and a really freaky light show. The stage was simply awesome, although it was not high enough to let the people in the back see the band's performance clearly, but that wasn't a problem since the bands made one hell of a show that made the people get into the music more than they needed to actually watch.
The first band to show up was Massive Scar Era (Mascara) with their unique music, feminine hardcore touches and outrageous performance. They played some of their old originals as well as new ones. Their playing was full of energy and at their top. An excellent job was done here that made the venue get in fire and be hungry for more!
The second band was Destiny In Chains, they came up with all the excitement, enthusiasm and energetic performance and music. They gave an extremely awesome performance with a spectacular intro and great outros. Destiny In Chains played tracks from their previous album, and as they promised, they also played some songs from the upcoming album; songs that made the band fans wish that the album would just be released right after the show.
