Appart from th two gigs featured in our events section, TEN Rock and Metal events will take place this weekend all over the region, featuring from local to major international bands! If you live in the UAEAlgeria,Turkey or Lebanon, you will be able to enjoy some Rocking action!

 

Who said the Middle Eastern Metal scene was dead?

The weekend will start with the concert of the legendary North American rockers THE EAGLES. They will appear in concert on Thursday 12th April at 7he Sevens Stadium in Dubai, UAE, marking the first-ever performance in an Arab country in the band's 40year history.

The city of Oran, Algeria will host J'ai du Talent Concert, which will take place on Thursday 12th April at the Theatre Régional d'Oran. The event will feature a bunch of young bands from different genres, which will be playing in support of the Smile Association. All the proceeds will be donated to this association, which supports disabled children. These are the participating bands:

 

DEMOCRATOZ (Reggae/Gnawi) + RAGING FIST (Heavy/Rock) + TROBADOR (Fusion) + AMED SOUL / YACINE KHEDAOUI (Soul/R&B) + ANGEL TEARS (Rock)

The Turkish Heavy Metal band APSENT will be playing on Thursday 12th April at Shaft Club, located in the Kadiköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. They will be playing some songs of their acclaimed self-titled debut album, as well as some covers.

After the rip-roaring, floor-stomping success of the last two Punk nights, Metal Asylum is doing it again withPunk Rock Pandemonium concert, this time with a bigger line-up! The event will take place on Friday 13th April at Aussie Legends, located in Rydges Plaza in Dubai, UAE. These are the participating bands:

Dubai House of Rock organize an special concert for their 1st Year Anniversary, featuring the students of this music school focused on Rock music. The concert will take place on Friday 13th April at Musician's Warehouse in Dubai, UAE.

The Lebanese Heavy/Thrash Metal band BLAAKYUM will start their "First In Line Tour" this weekend. They will be playing on Friday 13th April at 60's Pub in Zahle, Lebanon and on Sunday 15th April at Blind Bar Lounge inDer El Qamar, Lebanon. These will be the first two dates of the tour, which will make them play all around Lebanon in the upcoming months.

The legendary Marky Ramone will be playing in Istanbul, Turkey with his band MARKY RAMONE'S BLITZKRIEG (which also features Michale Graves from MISFITS). The concert will take place on Saturday 14th April at Roxy Club, located in Taksim district. The band will be supported by GÖKHAN TUNÇISLER (ex-RASHIT).

The Brazilian Thrash/Death Metal band ITSELF will be playing in Istanbul, Turkey this weekend. They will share the stage with the local Thrash/Death metallers VORTEX OF CLUTTER and with the Progressive Death Metal band THROWN TO THE SUN. The concert will take place on Sunday 15th April at Dorock Bar, located in Taksim district.
