GBOB - The Competition Comes Back To Lebanon!2015-07-30
The events company RockRing has announced the relaunch of Global Battle Of the Bands in Lebanon, after a 5-year hiatus. GBOB is the world’s largest international live music competition for all kinds of music with up to 30 countries competing, and Lebanon will be part of it on 2016.
Participating bands get the chance to travel & represent Lebanon in the Worldwide Final against other countries – each year the World Final is held in a different country, some of the previous countries where finals were held are England, Russia, and Malaysia. The winning band will win a fully paid trip to represent Lebanon, along with many other local valuable prizes such as free recordings, cash prizes, merchandise, among others. Global winner prizes include the title of “Best Band in the World”, booking & management contracts, studio recording, music video production, and endorsements. This, of course, comes along with a huge amount of exposure locally and internationally.
