The organizers of W.O.A. Metal Battle Middle East 2015 have announced that the registration period has already started. The winner of this competition will compete against bands from all over the world to become the W.O.A. Metal Battle World Champion.
One of the most important things for the W.O.A Metal Battle team and jury is the long ranged promotion of the winner with a special focus on live-activity. International winners get full top-quality endorsements and national artists get endorsements under special conditions as well. This is an occasion to play live on the world´s biggest Metal festival. It is a good chance to socialize with other bands and people from the business.

Once the application process is over, a preselection jury alongside Govad Music will decide which bands will participate in each country's battle. Details about the battles in each country will be given not before the end of January 2015. Pre-selected bands will receive a welcome letter from Wacken and Govad Music with the worldwide and local rules. The regional battles and the final will be held throughout springtime 2015.

Founded 2004, the W:O:A Metal Battle started just as an idea to boost the future generations of Heavy Metal and Rock musicians. The contest has its origins in Wacken's aim to support the future of Metal music, making bands step into the professional business. Several Metal bands such as RECKLESS TIDE, GORILLA MONSOON or IN MUTE became world-known after taking part in this competition.
Last year, Govad Music organized W:O:A Metal Battle Egypt. The competition took place on May 2014 and was won by Egyptian Black/Death metallers CRESCENT. The band represented its nation at Wacken Open Air, sharing the stage with the other country's winners, as well as several Metal music heavyweights such as AMON AMARTH, BEHEMOTH, MOTORHEAD, SLAYER and many others.
